Dr. Sreevidya is a highly accomplished Neurologist at Aster MIMS Calicut with over eight years of experience in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of neurological disorders. She completed her MBBS at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Cochin, followed by DM in Neurology from the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore. She also holds a Specialty Certification in Neurology (MRCP-UK CSE Neurology) from the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom, reflecting her strong academic and clinical foundation.
Her primary area of expertise lies in Neuroimmunology and Neuro-oncology, with a special focus on demyelinating and neuro-inflammatory disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO), and Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM). She is also experienced in the management of autoimmune and paraneoplastic neurological syndromes, particularly those affecting patients with malignancies.
Dr. Sreevidya’s clinical interests extend to the management of stroke, epilepsy, and other neurovascular disorders. She has a deep commitment to improving the quality of life of patients suffering from chronic headaches and craniofacial pain syndromes, integrating both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment approaches.
Trained in advanced electrophysiology from NIMHANS, she is skilled in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCS), Electromyography (EMG), and Evoked Potential testing, enabling precise evaluation and treatment of peripheral nerve disorders.
