Dr. Tony Jose is a Medical Gastroenterologist with more than 18 years of experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology. He is highly skilled in ERCP, diagnostic and therapeutic EUS, single & double balloon enteroscopy, cholangiogram, third space endoscopy (ESD and POEM), and motorised spiral enteroscopy.
He completed his MBBS, MD (General Medicine), and DM (Gastroenterology) from Calicut Medical College, Kerala, establishing a strong academic foundation.
Dr. Jose has previously served as an RMO at C.M. Hospital, Vadakara, and as a Registrar in the Department of Gastroenterology at MIMS Hospital, Calicut, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in managing complex gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.
He has contributed widely to medical research and publications, with his work spanning colonic polyps, esophageal carcinoma, tuberculosis treatment protocols, gastrointestinal infections, hepatic diseases, and endoscopic procedures. His findings have been presented at national and international conferences, earning recognition for their clinical significance.
In addition, Dr. Jose has actively participated in specialized workshops on pancreato-biliary endoscopy, research methodology, and critical care, further strengthening his expertise in therapeutic gastroenterology.
