Dr. Atul Abraham

Dr. Atul Abraham is a highly skilled Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive, robotic, and complex cardiac surgery. He completed his MCh in Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, followed by a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery at SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram, and advanced training in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery at Narayana Health, Bengaluru.

With experience at leading institutions including Aster Medcity, Government Medical College Kozhikode, General Hospital Ernakulam, KIMSHEALTH, and Narayana Health, Dr. Atul has expertise in coronary artery bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, aortic surgery, minimally invasive cardiac procedures, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, and ECMO support. He has also played a key role in establishing the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at General Hospital, Ernakulam—the first district-level hospital in India to offer comprehensive cardiothoracic surgical services.
