Dr. Saleena C

Dr. Saleena C is a dedicated and skilled Anaesthesiologist with strong expertise in delivering safe and effective anaesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialities. She has comprehensive training in both general and regional anaesthesia, along with hands-on experience in managing perioperative and critical care patients.

She completed her DNB in Anaesthesiology from the National Board of Education, following her MBBS from Kerala University of Health Sciences, and gained extensive clinical exposure during her tenure at Aster Medcity, Kochi. During this period, she has been actively involved in administering anaesthesia for more than 1200 surgical procedures, including complex and high-risk cases such as robotic-assisted surgeries, neurosurgeries, and cardiac procedures.

Dr. Saleena is proficient in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks, vascular access techniques, and advanced airway management, ensuring precision and patient safety at every stage of surgical care. She has also assisted in the anaesthetic management of renal and liver transplant surgeries, further strengthening her expertise in handling critically ill patients.

Her clinical interests extend to critical care management, postoperative pain control, and enhanced recovery protocols, with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes. She has experience managing patients in ICU and PACU settings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless perioperative care.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Saleena has actively contributed to academic and research activities, including presentations at state and national conferences. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of emergency and critical care.
