Dr. Bhanu Teja Ande Peddanagari is a trained Neurosurgeon with advanced expertise in neurovascular and endovascular neurosurgery, endoscopic spine surgery, vascular neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, neuro-spine trauma, and paediatric neurosurgery. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred neurosurgical care using advanced and minimally invasive techniques.

He completed his MBBS from Sree Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, followed by MS in General Surgery from Sree Venkateswara Medical College and RUIA Hospital, Tirupati. He subsequently pursued his MCh in Neurosurgery at Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (GIPMER), New Delhi, where he received extensive training in complex brain and spine procedures.

During his neurosurgical training, Dr. Bhanu Teja gained expertise in neuro-oncology surgeries for brain and spine tumours, skull-base surgeries, endoscopic brain surgery, paediatric neurosurgery, microvascular surgery, and advanced endovascular neuro-interventions. His experience includes procedures such as aneurysm clipping, AVM excision, STA-MCA bypass, aneurysm coiling, stenting, carotid stenting, and flow-diverter procedures.

He also completed a Fellowship in Endoscopic Spine Surgery, gaining advanced expertise in minimally invasive full-endoscopic procedures including endoscopic discectomy, endoscopic canal decompression, and endoscopic spine fusion. These techniques are aimed at minimizing surgical trauma and facilitating faster postoperative recovery.

His clinical interests include endovascular and hybrid cerebrovascular surgery, minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery, skull-base surgery, neuro-oncosurgery, and stereotactic neurosurgery. He manages a wide range of neurological and neurosurgical conditions, including brain aneurysms, AVMs, neurovascular disorders, brain and spine tumours, spinal trauma, hydrocephalus, and neural tube defects.

Dr. Bhanu Teja has gained extensive academic and clinical exposure through training at leading institutions in Tirupati and New Delhi. He has actively participated in national and international neurosurgical conferences, workshops, and advanced surgical programmes, with academic interests spanning neurovascular surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, skull-base surgery, endoscopic spine surgery, and neuro-oncology.

His academic contributions include presentations at national and international forums, and he was Runner-Up in the TYSA 2024–25 Torrent Young Scholar Award – Neurosurgery. He was also shortlisted for the Young Neurosurgeon Award Oral Paper Presentation at the 1st Yaşargil World Microneurosurgery Congress in Istanbul.

Dr. Bhanu Teja has contributed to publications in surgery and neurosurgery and has served as a reviewer for World Neurosurgery and the Indian Journal of Neurosurgery. He is also an author of a chapter in the Comprehensive Atlas of Skull Base Surgery, published by the Skull Base Society of India.
