Dr. Roy Thomas

Dr Roy Thomas is an experienced neurologist with over 12 years of experience in different neurological conditions. His areas of expertise include but are not limited to stroke, seizure/ epilepsy, movement disorders, neuro-infections, neuropathy, complex headaches, vertigo, loss of consciousness events, memory impairment/dementia, and other spinal cord and neuromuscular disorders. After completing his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, Dr Roy did postgraduate training in General Medicine and obtained his MD from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. With a special interest in neurology, he did his DM from Government Medical College, Trivandrum. Recipient of the prestigious B Braum Medical Scholarship Award during his internal medicine residency, Dr Roy also received Torrent Young Scholar Aware in Neurology. With a keen interest in Neurology, he underwent many trainings such as MRCP (UK), Specialty Certificate in Neurology from The Federation of Royal Colleges of Physicians and the British Association of Neurology of the United Kingdom, and FRCP (Edin). Dr Roy is also a Fellow of the European Board of Neurology (FEBN) and a Fellow of the American Neurological Association (FANA). He has been a regular international examiner for the MRCP PACES examination conducted by the Royal College of Physicians (UK).
