Dr. Praveen Kumar Etta is an accomplished nephrologist and kidney transplant physician with advanced training from SGPGIMS, Lucknow, one of India’s leading centers for renal sciences. With over a decade of experience across premier institutions, he specializes in clinical nephrology, transplant medicine, dialysis therapies, and critical care nephrology.
He completed his MBBS from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal and MD in General Medicine from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, followed by a DM in Nephrology at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, where he trained extensively in renal transplantation, dialysis technologies, and interventional nephrology. He has also pursued a Master Class in Nutrition Therapy from the Royal College of Physicians, UK, enhancing his expertise in renal nutrition.
Dr. Etta has been instrumental in establishing kidney transplant programmes, conducting training workshops, and mentoring dialysis teams. He has published extensively in national and international journals, authored book chapters, and presented award-winning research at global nephrology conferences.
