Dr. Tulluru Ravi Sankar is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Aster Ramesh Hospitals, Guntur. He completed his DM in Cardiology from Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, one of India's premier cardiac centers. Prior to joining Aster Ramesh Hospitals, he served as Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at CMC Vellore.
He has extensive experience in coronary angioplasty, complex coronary interventions, intracoronary imaging (IVUS/OCT), physiology-guided PCI, structural heart interventions, and management of challenging cardiac emergencies. His special interests include left main interventions, bifurcation PCI, chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions, and the management of procedural complications.
Dr. Ravi Sankar is actively involved in cardiovascular research and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in leading international cardiology journals, including JACC Case Reports and European Heart Journal – Case Reports. He has also presented complex interventional cases at major national and international cardiology conferences.
