Dr. Aditya J Baindur is a Senior Specialist in Pediatric and Neonatal Surgery at Aster RV Hospital, Bengaluru, with extensive training and experience in managing complex congenital and pediatric surgical conditions. He completed his MBBS and MS from Bangalore Medical College & Research Institute, followed by MCh in Pediatric Surgery from SMS Medical College, Jaipur. He has received training at high-volume tertiary centers including Victoria Hospital and Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital, Bengaluru, and SMS Hospital, Jaipur. His clinical exposure includes work in a 200-bedded exclusive pediatric surgical unit and a 28-bedded dedicated surgical NICU, providing him in-depth experience in neonatal surgeries, complex congenital anomalies, and critically ill pediatric patients. Dr. Aditya has a strong academic and research background with over 16 publications in national and international journals, including multiple systematic reviews focusing on rare congenital anomalies, complex pediatric conditions, and minimally invasive surgery. He has also reported the world’s first use of laparoscopy in heteropagus twins. His key clinical interests include neonatal surgery, minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures, pediatric urological surgeries, pediatric thoracic surgeries and pediatric gastro and hepatobiliary surgeries.
