Dr. Chaitra K is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon with advanced expertise in microsurgery, reconstructive oncology, and aesthetic surgery at Aster RV Hospital, Bangalore.

After completing her MBBS from Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, Kolar, and DNB in General Surgery from KG Hospital & PG Medical Institute, Coimbatore, she pursued her M.Ch. in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the prestigious Madras Medical College, Chennai. She was awarded the Gold Medal in Plastic Surgery from Madras Medical College. She further completed the DrNB in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and underwent advanced fellowship training in Reconstructive Oncology at HCG Cancer Centre, Bengaluru, followed by a Fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery in Delhi.

Dr. Chaitra has extensive experience in performing complex reconstructive procedures involving the face, breast, head and neck, upper and lower limbs, and soft tissue defects.

Her expertise includes microsurgical free flap reconstruction, perforator flap surgery, nerve and tendon reconstruction, brachial plexus surgery, hand trauma, burn reconstruction, facial reconstruction, and oncoplastic reconstruction following cancer surgery.

She is equally experienced in aesthetic procedures such as rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelift, body contouring, liposuction, breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, fat grafting, Botox, dermal fillers, and other facial rejuvenation treatments, always striving to achieve natural-looking results that complement each patient's individual features.

She has also co-authored a chapter in the textbook A to Z of Flaps: Mastering Reconstructive Microsurgery, reflecting her continued contribution to advancing the field of plastic surgery.
