Dr. Naushad Ahmed Peeran

Dr. Naushad Ahmed Peeran is a Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Aster RV Hospital with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing and managing cardiovascular disease. He is widely regarded for his expertise in complex coronary artery disease, structural heart conditions, and advanced heart failure management. He has performed and co- performed over 250 advanced structural heart procedures, including TAVI,TMVR, and Paravalvular Leak closure procedures. Dr. Peeran completed his MBBS at Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, followed by an MD in General Medicine from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bengaluru. He went on to specialise in cardiology, earning his DrNB (Cardiology) from Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences, one of India's leading cardiac training centres. He further pursued Fellowship training in Structural Interventions from GOKVI, Budapest, Hungary, and Fellowship in TAVI from UMC,Kazakhstan. He is also a member of leading cardiology societies and hold the prestigious titles of FESC- Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and FSCAI- Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions, USA Following his training, Dr. Peeran held a consultant position at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences, where he built extensive experience managing complex and high-risk cardiac cases. He later served as Senior Consultant and Head of Cardiology at Shifaa Hospital, Bengaluru, where he played a key role in building and expanding the hospital's cardiac services, before joining Aster RV Hospital. Across more than 25 years in high-volume cardiac centres, Dr. Peeran has developed deep expertise in complex coronary angioplasty, intracoronary imaging, structural heart interventions, TAVI, device therapies, and advanced heart failure management.
