Dr. Satyajit Godhi is a highly skilled and compassionate Surgical Gastroenterologist with over a decade of experience in treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, both benign and malignant. Dr. Godhi has been trained at some of India’s and the world’s most reputed medical institutions. After completing his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belagavi, he went on to pursue his super-specialization (M.Ch.) in Gastrointestinal Surgery from the prestigious Govind Ballabh Pant Institute, New Delhi. He also holds the MRCS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (UK), reflecting his international training and global standards of care.
Dr. Satyajit Godhi is widely recognized for his exceptional expertise in advanced laparoscopic (minimally invasive) and gastrointestinal surgeries. With a focus on patient comfort, faster recovery, and minimal scarring, he routinely performs keyhole surgeries for gallbladder removal, hernia repair, appendectomy, and reflux disorders like fundoplication. He is also highly skilled in the surgical management of colorectal conditions, including colon and rectal cancers, as well as treating anorectal issues such as piles, fissures. As a trained GI oncosurgeon, Dr. Godhi has extensive experience in performing complex cancer surgeries, including Whipple’s procedure for pancreatic cancer, gastrectomies for stomach cancer, and liver resections.He is also an expert in advanced laser surgeries for piles and fissure.
