Senior Specialist - Pediatric Pulmonology
Dr P. Samira Narayan is a Pediatric Pulmonologist with over 4 years of work experience in Clinical Pediatric Pulmonology. She completed her MBBS in 2018 from Shri BM Patil Medical College, Vijayapura, followed by MD (Pediatrics) in 2021 from Dr DY Patil Medical College, Pune. She developed a strong interest in the field of Pediatric Pulmonology and pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore. She has also worked in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units with experience in invasive & non-invasive ventilation, and other oxygen delivery devices. She has additional online training in Pediatric Sleep by National University of Singapore. In order to hone her clinical skills, she regularly attends specialised workshops such as Asthma Training Module, Advanced Pediatric Pulmonology Module, and online sensitisation about Allergy & Immunotherapy by University of Delhi. She is keen to serve children with respiratory disorders by providing a better quality of life and better long-term outcomes through evidence-based medicine and personalised support.
