
Dr. Shamkiran
Associate Consultant – Paediatric Endocrinology
Dr. Shamkiran is a dedicated pediatric and adolescent endocrinologist with comprehensive training and extensive clinical experience in managing endocrine disorders in children and adolescents. He completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, followed by an MD in Pediatrics at Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health (IGICH), Bangalore. To further specialize, he pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology at IGICH, With 3 years of post-MD and 2 years of post-fellowship experience, he has managed a wide spectrum of pediatric endocrine disorders. His clinical practice is complemented by active involvement in research, teaching, and multidisciplinary care. He is passionate about improving long-term outcomes for children with endocrine disorders and advancing pediatric endocrinology services through evidence-based practice and community engagement.
