Aster Volunteers Mobile Medical Service partnering with Aster Medcity & Peace Valley conducted COVID-19 screening camp in association with National Health Mission at Chellanam (coastal belt), Kochi for building self-confidence among the fishermen community - the unsung heroes of Kerala floods. The camp was supported by leading Infectious Disease Physicians in Kochi Kerala from Aster Medcity, a reputed Infectious Disease Hospital in Kochi Kerala, ensuring accurate screening, medical guidance, and community awareness. Mr Hibi Eden, Honorable MP of Ernakulam inaugurated the camp by undergoing Covid 19 screening by himself. 148 individuals from the fishermen community availed the facilities.
Dr. Sherwin Chacko (AV MMS) & Dr. Jawad (Dept. of Pediatrics Aster Medcity) led the screening.
