Aster Medcity hosted an early cancer detection camp on Sunday, 18th of October. Nearly 60 participants attended the workshop. Dr Vivek Radhakrishnan (Consultant – Medical Oncology), Dr Arun Warrier (Consultant – Medical Oncology), Dr Arunlal ( Consultant - Radiation Oncology ) and Dr Syam Vikram ( Surgical Oncology) addressed the participants and spoke on various types of cancer, symptoms and its treatment etc. After the awareness session consultation for those required were also done. Registration and consultation was free for the participants . The programme was initiated to create awareness against cancer. Workshops are planned on November 14 and December 12 2015 also.
