‘School Shikshan’ project launched

​Aster Medcity’s ‘School Shikshan’ project was inaugurated by S Sharma MLA at Kadamakkudi Govt Higher Secondary School. The project aims to impart basic computer education and training in communicative English to the students of five selected schools in Kadamakkudi Panchayath in Ernakulam district.

The year-long project was developed as part of the action plan of ‘Aster Volunteers’, the global corporate social responsibility initiative of Aster Medcity.

As part of the project, Aster volunteers will visit the school once in a month and take classes for students from first grade to 12th grade.

Ms Salini Babu, president of Kadamakkudi Panchayat, presided over the function while Commander Jelson Kavalakkat (Retd), CEO of Aster Medcity, explained the details of the ‘School Shikhshan’ Project. The members of Kadamakkudi Panchayat and the employees of Kadamakkudi Govt Higher Secondary School extended their wishes for the project.
