Aster MIMS Hospital at Kozhikode constructed a field hospital within 5 days and commenced operations today. The makeshift hospital is exclusive to COVID-19 patients as the virus continues to spread rapidly and with patients finding it difficult to access beds. This is the first time a field hospital has been set up in Kerala as part of the COVID-19 defense.
