The Department of Gastro Sciences at Aster MIMS Kasaragod has achieved a significant clinical milestone by successfully completing 100+ advanced gastrointestinal procedures within a short span of two months, positively impacting more than 100 lives through specialized and timely interventions.
This achievement reflects the hospital’s growing strength in advanced gastro care, minimally invasive procedures, and patient-centered treatment approaches. The milestone was commemorated with a cake-cutting ceremony at the hospital in the presence of senior leadership and clinical experts.
The celebration was led by Gastroenterologist Dr. Kiran and Gastro Surgeon Dr. Jazeel, whose expertise and coordinated clinical efforts played a key role in reaching this landmark. The event was attended by Mr. Sudheer Basuri, COO, and Dr. Sooraj KM — Medical Director, Aster Hospitals & CEO, Aster Labs and Aster Homecare, Kerala Cluster, Dr. Avinash Kakkunje and Dr. Sajid Salahuddin, acknowledging the dedication and teamwork of the gastro sciences team.
