Dr. Avinash T S is the Lead Consultant in Urology at Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore. He has extensive experience in the field of urology, specializing in minimally invasive urology, including endoscopic laser surgery, laparoscopy, and robotic-assisted surgery, as well as kidney transplantation.

Dr. Avinash completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere, and his MS in General Surgery from Bangalore Medical College. He further pursued a DNB in General Surgery, followed by an M.Ch in Urology from the prestigious Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai. Additionally, he completed a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery, highlighting his expertise in advanced surgical techniques.

With a career marked by pioneering efforts, Dr. Avinash has been instrumental in setting up Urology departments and establishing kidney transplant and robotic surgery programs at major hospitals in Bangalore. He is skilled in performing a range of urological procedures, including ablative and reconstructive laparoscopic surgeries, as well as complex kidney transplant surgeries. His expertise extends to managing various urological conditions such as kidney stones, enlarged prostate, urological tumors, urethral strictures, and urological issues in women and children.

He has published more than 25 scientific papers as a primary author and co-author in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented his research at numerous conferences.
