Aster CMI Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Jeevak Vasanth Shetty, Consultant Paediatric Surgeon, to our Paediatrics and Paediatric Surgery Department.
Dr. Jeevak completed his M.Ch in Paediatric Surgery and Master of Surgery from M.S. Ramaiah Medical and Teaching Hospital, Bengaluru, and holds his MBBS degree from Sri Devaraj Urs Academy of Higher Education and Research, Kolar.
With over 8 years of advanced paediatric surgical experience, Dr. Jeevak has expertise in minimal access paediatric surgery (thoracoscopy & laparoscopy), complex congenital malformation surgeries in newborns, paediatric urology, paediatric trauma, paediatric oncosurgery, and paediatric vascular access procedures.
He has served in notable teaching and clinical roles, including as Assistant Professor and Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at M.S. Ramaiah Medical and Teaching Hospital and continues to practice as a visiting consultant across multiple premier hospitals in Bengaluru.
Dr. Jeevak has won several awards at PeSuCON conferences and has contributed to multiple peer-reviewed national and international publications in paediatric surgery.
At Aster CMI, Dr. Jeevak aims to further strengthen comprehensive paediatric surgical care and enhance clinical outcomes in children requiring advanced surgical interventions.
