Dr. Jyothi Janardhanan is a Senior Specialist, Pediatric Immunology and Rheumatology at Aster MIMS Calicut, specializing in the diagnosis and management of complex immunological, autoimmune, and autoinflammatory disorders in children. Her clinical expertise spans Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), Kawasaki Disease, Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, Periodic Fever Syndromes, and Primary Immunodeficiencies (PIDs).
She has completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Pediatric Immunology and Rheumatology (FPID, USA) from Aster CMI Hospital, Bangalore, where she received advanced training in pediatric immune disorders and autoimmune diseases. A Gold Medalist during her MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Wardha, and an MD (Pediatrics) graduate from Grant Government Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, Dr. Jyothi has demonstrated consistent academic excellence and clinical proficiency.
With prior academic and teaching experience as Assistant Professor in Pediatrics, she has played an active role in mentoring young clinicians and leading academic initiatives. Dr. Jyothi is also an accomplished researcher with multiple indexed publications, textbook chapters, and conference presentations at leading national and international platforms including ESID (European Society for Immunodeficiencies), ISPID, NCPR, and IRACON.
Her work has been recognized with Best Oral Paper Awards and international travel grants for outstanding research on hereditary angioedema, autoimmune diseases, and inborn errors of immunity.
At Aster MIMS Calicut, Dr. Jyothi leads the Pediatric Immunology and Rheumatology services, providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and multidisciplinary care aimed at improving long-term outcomes and quality of life for children with immune-mediated diseases.
