Dr. Salim VP

Dr. Salim V. P. is a leading Surgical Oncologist with expertise in advanced robotic cancer surgery. He heads the Department of Surgical Oncology and Advanced Robotic Surgery, with a special focus on precision surgery for robotic thoracic and abdominal cancers. His areas of specialization also include HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) and PIPAC (Pressurised Intraperitoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy), offering cutting-edge treatment options for complex and advanced cancers.

He completed his MBBS in 2001 from Calicut Medical College, followed by MS in General Surgery in 2006 from Government Medical College, Raipur (CG). Dr Salim further refined his expertise by obtaining his DNB in Surgical Oncology from Apollo Cancer Hospital, Chennai, in 2012. Earlier in his career, he served as an Assistant Professor in General Surgery at KMCT Medical College, Mukkom, where he contributed to both academic teaching and patient care.

With over 18 years of experience, Dr Salim has developed a strong reputation for managing complex malignancies using the latest surgical techniques. His practice emphasizes precision, safety, and optimal outcomes, integrating advanced robotic technology with a patient-centered approach. He has a special interest in thoracic, gynecologic, and gastrointestinal cancers and is recognized for adopting innovative treatments to address challenging cases.
