Dr. Sheik Mohammed Sameer Khan is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with expertise in Minimally Invasive Brain and Spine Surgery. He is committed to delivering state-of-the-art neurosurgical care using advanced microsurgical and endoscopic techniques that promote faster recovery, reduced postoperative pain, minimal blood loss, and shorter hospital stays. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Tirunelveli, followed by a six-year MCh in Neurosurgery from Government Rajaji Medical College & Hospital, Madurai. He subsequently served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Coimbatore Government Medical College Hospital. He later completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery at Aster MIMS, Kottakkal, with dedicated training in endoscopic spine surgery and minimally invasive spinal stabilisation techniques. His clinical practice encompasses comprehensive management of brain, spine and peripheral nerve disorders with a special focus on minimally invasive surgery. He has presented scientific papers at national and international conferences and published in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of NSI, NSSI and TANS.
