Dr. M N V Neelendra Yesaswy is the consultant Surgical gastroenterologist and liver transplant surgeon in Aster Ramesh Hospitals. He has experience in living donor liver transplantation, paediatric liver transplantation, Deceased Donor Liver transplantation and surgery for cancers of the liver, pancreas, biliary tract and Gastrointestinal tract. He is also trained in minimally invasive surgery (laparoscopic and Robotic) and performs advanced laparoscopic surgeries. He believes in a truly multi-disciplinary approach to managing adults  with complex gastrointestinal and liver problems and is strongly focused on treatment outcomes and the overall patient experience.

Dr. M N V Neelendra Yesaswy underwent medical training at SDM Medical college and hospital, Dharwad, Karnataka India. He completed his general surgical residency at Madurai Medical college and Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. He then pursued Master of Chirurgiae (M Ch) Surgical gastroenterology from Sri Ramachandra Medical college and Hospital Porur, Chennai. For advanced laparoscopic training he worked as faculty in department of GI Surgery in Prestigious government institute - GB Pant hospital New Delhi (GIPMER). He then moved to Gleneagles global health city Chennai to train in Liver Transplantation and Hepatobiliary pancreatic Surgery. During this period, he also conducted research into living donor safety and improving outcomes in donors after aLDLT. Over the past 7 years he was involved in 200+ liver Transplantations and 800+ complex liver, biliary, pancreas and GI surgeries.
