Dr. Ankur Rajvanshi is a leading Neonatologist and Senior Pediatrician at Aster Hospitals, Whitefield. With over 17 years of clinical experience, he is a highly skilled clinician dedicated to delivering optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine.
He possesses extensive expertise in managing critically ill neonates in the NICU, including the care of extremely preterm infants as early as 24-25 weeks of gestation. He has significant experience in improving outcomes in babies with Hypoxic Ischaemic Encephalopathy and other high-risk neonatal conditions. His competencies also include advanced neonatal intensive care practices and specialized neonatal transport services, including air transport of critically ill newborns.
Prior to joining Aster Hospitals, Whitefield, Dr. Rajvanshi served at Cloudnine Hospitals, Whitefield for 7 years, where he was widely appreciated for his compassionate, empathetic, and family-centered approach. He is known for his ability to communicate complex medical information in simple, reassuring language, enabling parents to understand and participate confidently in their child's care. He remains committed to continuous learning and regularly updates his knowledge to provide the most current and effective treatment options.
After completing his MD in Paediatrics, he served in rural India, gaining valuable grassroots clinical experience. He subsequently pursued a Fellowship in Neonatology at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore, a premier tertiary care institution. He later worked as a Specialist in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Manipal Hospitals, Bangalore for 3 years. Additionally, he completed the International Program on Preterm Nutrition (IPPN) fellowship conducted by the University of Western Australia (UWA) in association with King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women (KEMH).
