Dr Sunil Eshwar (Lead Consultant - Laparoscopic Surgeon) shares an interesting case study of a complicated pregnancy and how the team at Aster RV went about it that led to a successful delivery. The baby was born in 28 weeks weighing only 928 grams. Hence, post delivery we had to admit the baby in NICU, where under the treatment of Dr. Nikhil Nagaraj (Consultant - Paediatrics & Neonatology) the baby recovered well and was discharged in normal condition within few weeks to the parents. During this period the parents were also meeting the child and provided mother's breestfeed.
In such critical cases a new born management team is put to a test and we are glad to say at Aster RV Hospital, our team of doctors and supporting medical staff did an exceptional job of making this successful.
