As part of creating awareness about cancer diseases and providing quality treatment at minimal cost, Aster Medcity, a leading cancer hospital in Kochi, will be joining hands with charity worker Fr Davis Chiramel. Fr Davis Chiramel, who is known as 'Kidney Priest', is the founder of charity organisations including Fr Chiramel Accident Care, Transport Service and Kidney Federation of India.
The new project is being undertaken as part of Aster Hospitals successfully completing 200 bone marrow transplants. Highly qualified doctors, including some of the top oncologists in Kochi Kerala, will ensure the best services through this project.
The project 'Aster Care Together' will be implemented throughout the State to ensure quality treatment to the society. Chemotherapy units will be established at regional hospitals or other institutions in other districts, where Aster hospitals have no presence. Service of expert doctors from the best oncology hospital in Kochi will also be made available here.
