As a part of World Earth day, Aster volunteers has launched a campaign - R.A.I.S.E - to raise awareness among women on the health and environmental benefits of menstrual cup over other methods.
In its first phase, 500 cups are to be distributed among members of Kudumbasree and other social groups.
Ms Ambili Vijayaraghavan, Chief Operating Officer, Aster Medcity handed over the first cup to Ms Viji Rajashekharan, Varapuzha CDS Vice-Chairperson.
