Dr. Ayisha Rubeena

Dr. Ayisha Rubeena K.P., MBBS, MD (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation), has joined Aster MIMS Calicut as a Specialist in the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. With her strong academic foundation and hands-on clinical expertise, she is dedicated to restoring functionality, independence, and quality of life for patients, making her one of the leading physiatrists in Calicut.

She completed her MBBS from Government Medical College, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, and MD in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from Government Medical College, Kozhikode. Her training enables her to effectively manage musculoskeletal disorders, neurological impairments, chronic pain, and mobility challenges, using evidence-based rehabilitation strategies.

Dr. Ayisha has special interest in neurorehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, oncorehabilitation, and regenerative therapies for pain management. She is skilled at designing personalized rehabilitation programs that integrate advanced therapeutic techniques with a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Before joining Aster MIMS Calicut, she served as a Senior Resident at Government Medical College, Kozhikode, where she gained significant experience in handling complex rehabilitation cases. Her patient-centred, compassionate approach ensures holistic care for individuals with diverse rehabilitation needs.
