Ms. Divya G
Psychologist
Divya G is a dedicated mental health professional with a strong passion for supporting individuals and families through emotional, psychological, and health-related challenges. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Jain University and a Diploma in Counselling from Banjara Academy, Bengaluru. She has also completed certification programs in Dream Analysis, Handwriting Analysis, and Graphology.
Her clinical journey began with a six-month internship at Manasa Foundation, Shivamogga, where she gained valuable experience in psychiatric care. She further enhanced her clinical exposure through volunteer work at NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She later worked as a Counsellor Psychologist at Karunashraya – Bangalore Hospice Trust for over three and a half years, providing psychological support to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
Currently, Ms. Divya serves as a Psychologist and Psycho-Oncologist in the Pain and Palliative Care Department at Aster Whitefield Hospital, Bengaluru. She works closely with cancer patients and their families, supporting them from the time of diagnosis, throughout active treatment, survivorship, recurrence, advanced illness, and end-of-life care. She also provides grief and bereavement support to families beyond the loss of their loved ones. Her approach combines empathy, evidence-based care, and holistic support to help individuals build resilience and improve their quality of life.
