Dr. Raghavendra Ramanjulu is a highly accomplished Pain and Palliative Care Physician with extensive expertise in managing complex and chronic conditions. He currently serves as the Lead Consultant for Palliative Medicine & Rehabilitation Services at Aster CMI Hospital.
His clinical interests include complex symptom management, interdisciplinary pain management, interventional pain procedures, palliative rehabilitation, end-of-life care, and extended home-based care, with a strong focus on improving quality of life for patients and their families.
Dr. Ramanjulu completed his MBBS from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Medical College, Bangalore, followed by an MD in Anaesthesia from Shree Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, in 2006. He further pursued senior residency in Neuroanaesthesia at NIMHANS.
He went on to complete advanced training in chronic pain and palliative care, including the ISSP-sponsored fellowship at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and certifications from the Indian Association of Palliative Care (Part 1 & 2). Internationally, he completed a Fellowship in Chronic Pain Management from the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Singapore General Hospital, and is a Fellow in Interventional Pain Management from the World Institute of Pain, USA. He also holds a Diploma in Palliative Medicine and an MSc in Palliative Medicine from Cardiff University, UK.
Dr. Ramanjulu has contributed to several research projects, particularly in brain tumors, and has multiple publications to his credit. He is actively involved in teaching, having conducted workshops and trained physicians across the country.
With a patient-centric and compassionate approach, he is dedicated to delivering holistic care for patients with complex pain and serious illnesses.
