Aster MIMS Calicut has reached a new milestone in surgical innovation with the official launch of the Da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System. The advanced system was inaugurated by Shri. P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, former Governor of Goa, in a landmark event that underscores our commitment to transforming healthcare in North Kerala.
Aster MIMS was the first hospital in North Kerala to introduce Da Vinci Robotic Surgery, and with the addition of the Da Vinci Xi platform, we now elevate our capabilities to a global standard in minimally invasive surgery. This launch marks the beginning of our Advanced Centre for Robotic Surgery, a dedicated facility designed to offer precision-driven, less invasive surgical care across various specialties, including urology, gynecology, general surgery, and oncology.
The Da Vinci Xi represents the latest generation in robotic-assisted technology, enhancing surgical precision, reducing recovery time, and minimizing complications for patients. With this, Aster MIMS Calicut reinforces its position as a leader in robotic surgery in Kerala, bringing cutting-edge technology and world-class expertise closer to home.
