Dr. Abhilash V has expertise in the management of peripheral arterial diseases, varicose veins, arterio venous malformations, aortic aneurysm repairs, dialysis access procedures like AV fistula & graft, also the stroke prevention procedures like carotid endarterectomy, stenting, management of diabetic foot wounds and vascular trauma.
Dr. Abhilash has 7 years of teaching experience in vascular surgery topics, general surgery, trauma and critical care, demonstration of Vascular procedures, hands on training for endovascular interventions and Doppler imaging.
He has Completed MBBS from Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences, Bellary RGUHS (Karnataka), MS in General surgery from Bangalore Medical College.
He further completed his DrNB in Vascular and Endovascular surgery from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi.
He has also worked as senior resident (General surgery) with KIMS Bangalore & Academic senior resident [MCh] in trauma and critical care, All India institute of medical sciences, New Delhi.
He then worked as Assistant professor in the department of general surgery at Sri Devaraj Urs medical college, Kolar, Karnataka & also worked as Associate consultant in Trauma and General surgery at Sanjeevani Hospital, Vidya Nagar, JSW, Bellary.
