Dr. Sabarinath Menon

Dr. Sabarinath Menon is a highly experienced and skilled paediatric cardiac surgeon with over 20 years of expertise in the field, including 18 years as a congenital cardiac surgeon. He has recently joined Aster MIMS Calicut as a Senior Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Cardiac Surgery.

Dr. Menon holds an MBBS degree from the Government. Medical College, Calicut, followed by an MS in General Surgery from the Govt. Medical College, Kottayam. He further specialized with an MCh in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery from the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute of Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Trivandrum.

Dr. Menon also completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery from SCTIMST and served as a Fellow at the renowned Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Westmead, Sydney, Australia. Before returning to Aster MIMS Calicut, he held the position of Professor in Paediatric Cardiac Surgery at SCTIMST, Trivandrum, where he contributed significantly to both academic and clinical advancements in the field.
