Dr. Umesan C.V is a renowned interventional cardiologist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of cardiology.

Dr.Umesan completed his MBBS degree from Calicut Medical College, followed by MD (General Medicine) from Banaras Hindu University, and DM (Cardiology) from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow.

He has received advanced training in Coronary Interventions at Townsville Hospital & Townsville hospital and Mater Hospital, Townsville, Australia; Mater Hospital in Australia and special training in device implantations at Prince Charles Hospital, Brisbane, Australia.

After specialisation in cardiology, Dr. Umesan worked as a consultant at the prestigious Madras Medical Mission Hospital, Chennai for about 4 years.

His other prior associations include working at MIMS Kozhikode, NMC hospital Abu Dhabi and Koyili Hospital, Kannur. He was the Head of the Department of Cardiology at NMC hospital, Abu Dhabi and initiated the coronary angioplasty programs there.
