Dr. Vinayak Kurle is a accomplished and dedicated highly skilled ENT and Head & Neck Surgeon with over 10 years of clinical and surgical experience. Currently serving as a Consultant at Aster RV Hospital, Bengaluru, he specializes in advanced Head & Neck surgeries, including the management of both benign and malignant conditions. His expertise spans a wide spectrum of ENT and Head & Neck disorders, providing comprehensive care for patients from paediatric to geriatric age groups.
Dr. Vinayak Kurle completed his MBBS from SDM College of Medical Sciences, Dharwad, and MS in ENT from M.R. Medical College, Kalaburagi. He further honed his skills through a Fellowship and Senior Residency in Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at the prestigious Kidwai Institute of Oncology, Bengaluru.
Dr. Vinayak began his medical journey in ENT as a Junior Resident at M.R. Medical College and Basaveshwara Teaching Hospital in Kalaburgi while pursuing his postgraduate degree. He went on to hold the position of Senior Resident at Grant Government Medical College, Sir JJ Group of Hospitals, Mumbai, and later served as a Clinical Assistant at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Center, Mumbai. Later in his career he ascended to role as Senior resident & further completed completed fellowship in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery from India's one of the oldest premiere and reputed cancer Centre- KIDWAI Institute of Oncology , Bengaluru, India. Aditionally he enhanced his skills through cetification course in laryngeal framework surgery(thyroplasty) & sialendoscopy.
- ENT procedures -Tympanoplasty, Modified radical mastoidectomy, Coblation adenoidectomy/Tonsillectomy, Endoscopic septoplasty/Turbinoplasty, Endoscopic dacrocystorhinostomy, Myringotomy and grommet insertion, Functional endoscopic Sinus surgery(FESS), microlaryngeal surgery like vocal cord nodule excision, cyst excision, Thyroplasty.
- Head & Neck surgeries - preauricular siunus excision, Thyroglossal cyst excision, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, branchial cyst excision, glossectomy, Excision of primary head and neck tumors, Transoral resection & Transoral Laser Microsurgery (TLM), Composite resection and neck dissection, Advanced reconstruction techniques like PMMC and submental flap
- Anterior and lateral skull base approaches -Transoral transnasal endoscopic approach for CSF rhinorrhea, pituitary tumour, endonasal tumours
- ENT emergencies - foreign body removal from ear/nose/throat, tracheostomy, epistaxis or nasal bleeding, peritonsillar abscess incision and drainage.
