Antenatal Counselling(ANC)

The importance of ANC cannot be stressed upon more as this is when few of the major defects in the unborn baby are picked up. The expectant  parents will be counselled about the problems their baby may be born with, the possible treatments that are available, their possible prognoses and outcomes. These are essential to ease the minds of anxious parents-to-be, who might unknowingly take extreme steps when a simple procedure immediate post-delivery could correct the baby’s congenital defects.
