Kochi: Aster Medcity has launched mobile vaccination unit for COVID-19 vaccination drive on Thursday. In the first phase, the services of the mobile vaccination unit, which consists of a van and an ambulance, will be available in Kochi Corporation limit or 20 km radius of the hospital. The minimum number required for availing the service of the mobile vaccination unit is 50 people. The cost of the vaccine per dose is government fixed Rs 250. The prior registration on the CoWIN portal will be helpful to save time, hospital authorities in a statement.
On the first day, 110 employees of Federal Bank were provided with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine in a vaccination drive held in the bank’s headquarters at Aluva on Thursday. The unit will provide vaccination to the staff of Customs Department in Customs House on Friday. The services of the unit will be available in the head office of Geojit Securities on Saturday (April 10) and Sunday (April 11).
