With a faculty of eminent doctors from various leading hospitals across India, the comprehensive, hands-on workshop was specially designed for Pediatric, Neonatal, PICU and Emergency Pediatrics trainees and consultants to gain expertise in conducting and interpreting echocardiograms on neonates and children. The introduction of the Aster Child Heart App by Dr. Anil SR, Senior Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, Aster Medcity was a highlight of the workshop. This App allows the clinical information of children with suspected congenital heart defects to be captured so that this can be relayed to a specialist. The workshop participants appreciated the comprehensive theoretical training imparted as well as the intensive practical, hands-on learning opportunities that the workshop gave them. The faculty for the workshop included renowned Cardiologists, Pediatricians, and Neonatologists from across the country. Dr. Kalyan Sundar, Senior Pediatric Cardiologist from TKNM Hospital, Coimbatore took the participants through Doppler Evaluation And Colour Doppler Assessment.
