Ms Sishna Anand is perhaps more known as the “Helen Keller of Kannur” - and rightly so. Born prematurely, she was naturally denied vision, hearing, and speech. But that didn’t stop Sishna from completing her education and vocational training through Power Braille. She plans to pursue higher education and to aid her efforts, Dr Moopen’s foundation and Aster Volunteers provided her with a highly developed Power Braille, handed over to her by Shrimati KK Shailaja Teacher, the Hon. Minister of Health.
